Fw: Osprey nest at Brooklyn navy yard
Hi,
A friend of mine, Peter Malinowski, head of the Billion Oyster Project, informed me that a pair of osprey are building a raggedy nest on a 50' light tower at the end of the gravel pit pier at the Brooklyn Navy Yard that extends into Wallabout Bay. He said he first noticed it this year. He thinks it is difficult to see from land outside the Navy Yard .
