The slow trend continues, very little to be seen.No reports today except Ryan Bass who reported CEDAR WAXWINGS this morning.
I went out late this eve, and the best were swallows ,a NORTHERN ROUGH WINGED with BARNS and TREES. Some Laughing Gulls but nothing regarding land birds. Very puzzling for this time of year.
Its wait and hope....
From Ryan
Peter,
Unfortunately, another slow day...
Explored Lookout & Peninsula... Pines and Palms have moved on. Myrtles are scarce. Highlights included a Great Crested Flycatcher near the Maryland Monument and a flock of (15+) Cedar Waxwings at the Peninsula's tip...
Hopefully the afternoon reports show pickup.
Cheers, Ryan
