Its only a couple of COMMON GRACKLES ,but their presence at the feeders might be the very early signs of spring migration. Among the three blackbirds species besides Red winged and Brown headed Cowbird,its a matter of time for the grackles to come in en masse.I usually find the early flocks by West Island or Duck Island.
COMMON REDPOLL is as usual still put. This morning Emily Goldstein had it high up by the Well drive shipping containers. At the end of the day, Redpoll was back at its old haunts at the picnic tables birches reported by Dan Frazer.
COMMON MERGANSER in the Lake was down to three .I did not see the hooked drake.
