A crowd in Prospect Lake's middle as two quality duck species occupied that locale in front of Three Sisters Islands.
RING NECKED DUCK ,now double the COMMON MERGANSER number at the ice edge, has increased to ten birds of 6 drake,4 hen to the " Merg 5" as I passed by a tad after mid afternoon hour. Quite distant but the setting sun illuminated the Ring Neckeds quite beautifully on this crisp cold day.
Common Redpoll continues at Well drive tables and Eastern Phoebe spotted as well according to Kathy Toomey.
