Hi Peter,
A great migration today, with finally lots of numbers as well as 81 species including 15 species of warblers.
Highlights were first, an early, singing, Cerulean Warbler in the lullwater around the feeder area. We heard it several times as it moved around in that area.
Yellow-throated Vireos (3 I believe), probably 5 Purple Finch including 2 males, 2 Ruby-throated Hummingbirds, Great-crested Flycatcher and Eastern Kinbirds are back, Bank Swallow on the lake, thanks to tip from Keir to look for it; a late Red-breasted Nuthatch, lots of Yellow Warblers, American Redstart, Black-throated Green, at least 4 Prairie Warblers, Scarlet Tanager, and lots more.
I'll send a couple of pictures later, but wanted to get the word out on the Cerulean now.
