Another unusual day in the Park. The activity was quite slow, but some surprises came along during my walk today.
First, I tallied 9 sps of Warblers (See list below). Their numbers are in the 1s, and of course, the number of sps are down, too.
But other sps of birds are making their "goodbye" to the park, like Red-eyed Vireo, and the thrushes ( I did not see 1 sps today).
But the most welcome one, was a single individual of a Rusty Blackbird, vocalizing on top of a tree between Upper & Lower Pools. Also a Towhee on the Ravine made the day.
Brooklyn is great birding!!
