a little grassland spot in BBG

A dearth of sparrows in Prospect,mysteriously but today the Brooklyn Botanic Garden's native grassland gets the limelight.

This afternoon, Will Pollard spotted a DICKCISSEL in the grassland site ( with the pond and boardwalk) ; not only that a BLUE GROSBEAK and an INDIGO BUNTING were associating with the DICKCISSEL.  Pretty darn good for that exceptional spot.Prospect takes a holiday,BBG gets the cake today
