From recent reports, the ORANGE CROWNED WARBLER seems to settle in the slope area behind lamppost 249.
This morning when I pass by that area at Well drive picnic tables, the WARBLER popped out on a honeysuckle covered rosebush. But almost immediately it was chased away by a White throated sparrow.
Fast forward to this evening when Klemens Gasser tweets the report of reappearing OCWA. Farther up the slope in the same area the bird showed by the mid slope path. An elusive hard to get bird, with patience one can find it.
Otherwise on this quiet day with cold front still acting as a blocking pattern, few exciting moments
Saturday's Yellow throated Warbler was searched for but no dice...
