Two spots, Greenwood Cemetery and Owls Head Park figured in today with a few birds.
AMERICAN WOODCOCK still haunt the cemetery the day after Halloween, lingering birds at Central Avenue. The observer Orrin Tilevitz reported the birds as yesterday's birds stayed put. A possible third bird was found at the Mausoleum.
Farther west at Owls Head Park, thanks to helicopters, Bobbi Manian found EASTERN BLUEBIRD flushed about at that little under birded park ( or at least under-reported ) .Owls head can be reach by the R train to Bay Ridge Avenue, then a walk 4 blocks west ward to Colonial Avenue I believed.
