Iceland Gull (Larus glaucoides) (2)

- Comments: "One large and very bright individual with a lighter head and all dark bill. Almost as large and robust as nearby Herring Gulls. The second bird was smaller, with a smaller bill that seemed to be getting lighter at the base. Bird number two also had a much darker face with a distinct dark semi-circle under the eye."

- Comments: "black-billed gull with light wing-tips. slightly smaller than a herring. THANKS to Sean S for the heads up on a Glaucous gull, which he spotted flying towards the lake. Glaucous was gone by the time I got there, but an Iceland was there for a consolation prize."
