- Comments: "a single individual and a pair separately-smaller than surrounding Lesser CAGO with smaller triangular bills steep forehead squarish head frosty edging to upperparts though this was matched by some of the Lessers"

- Comments: "first winter smaller than nearby HEGU with longer primary projection-all black bill smaller than HEGU as well-checkered upperparts and lack of white markings in outer greater coverts and overall more black and white color palette than young HEGU-whitish head with shading around eye and on top of head-ditistinctive spotting on upper breast-black tail band with limited black markings on rump-dark under primaries with no sign of lighter inner primaries from underneath though dorsally they were slightly paler but not fowming a distinct window as in HEGU"
