This is a Pratt Institute rendering of the shadows that would be cast on the Brooklyn Botanic Garden should the zoning laws be waived for the proposed project at 960 Franklin Ave. The Conservatory could lose up to 4 hours of sunlight each day and then be subject to heat glare off the glass facade of the proposed buildings - say goodbye to the many ecosystems housed in the Conservatory.
