Early spring birds

It's beginning to look alot like....spring.

Yesterday's BLUE GRAY GNATCATCHER seen by Marc Brawer continued into today. The bird of the Lullwater figured on staying , reported at the Terrace Bridge, says Charles Tang. This is a quite early first of season bird.

image 0I had my own spring first in Prospect with some egrets and heron. Behind Three Sisters western island, three GREAT EGRETS shared the share with a BLACK CROWNED NIGHT HERON , perched on a fallen snag. The other two egrets mostly stayed behind the phragmites.

An afternoon report of ten PINE WARBLERS is a good indication of influx numbers ready to slam into Prospect, those birds seen at the Upper Pool back area. The observer was Charles Tang.
