It's beginning to look alot like....spring.
Yesterday's BLUE GRAY GNATCATCHER seen by Marc Brawer continued into today. The bird of the Lullwater figured on staying , reported at the Terrace Bridge, says Charles Tang. This is a quite early first of season bird.
I had my own spring first in Prospect with some egrets and heron. Behind Three Sisters western island, three GREAT EGRETS shared the share with a BLACK CROWNED NIGHT HERON , perched on a fallen snag. The other two egrets mostly stayed behind the phragmites.
An afternoon report of ten PINE WARBLERS is a good indication of influx numbers ready to slam into Prospect, those birds seen at the Upper Pool back area. The observer was Charles Tang.
