Day two rarities except...

The Owls head park celebrity of last year figured on at least showing up this year. That bird being Ash throated Flycatcher did just that. Along with that report, some other quality birds in the local region added suspense ( except one).

Today's Ash throated Flycatcher hung around near the restroom building. More specifically it was reported in the Gingko tree by there.

If you happen to be in Greenwood Cemetery, you might have seen stuff. Sylvan Water hosted three Ring-necked Ducks,an uncommon sight there. Both Eastern Phoebe at Crescent water and Baltimore Oriole continue their stay, though the latter whearabouts is unmentioned.

Bush Terminal Park continues its gull specialty reputation with the stay over Lesser Black backed Gull.

Staying on note with gulls, there was a report of Iceland Gull at Williamsburg Domino Park.

Finishing up with Prospect Park, the feeders only saw the Pine Warbler today. The Dickcissel was a no show ; it doesn't mean it left but birders should check continually for the bird.

Though I missed nor didn't pursue any of the rarities,I was happy to finally catch up with Ms. Parula! On my way in, the movement on the pokeweed slope behind the Well Drive shipping containers turns out to be my nemesis bird. Oh why the heck didn't you show up on Christmas Count day for me? 😆
