Sundays offerings

There's been an array of good stuff in both Prospect and Greenwood Cemetery. I will focus on the good stuff with mentions of more common sightings.

First ,a Prothonotary Warbler after an initial sighting last night on the Peninsula, made rounds while island hopping. First to Music island then hanging out on Duck Island where multiple reports came out . Mostly seen along the eastern shore opposite the boat ramp, it moved thru to Duck Island western shore.

Over at Greenwood, two Blue Grosbeaks are there. Joining the immature male at Cedar Dell, an adult male was reported at Sylvan Ave near the Cliff path , upslope from Sylvan Water Northeast shore. A Mudflat is showing after water was pumped to allow a construction project ,attracting Killdeer.

Reports of early Eastern Kingbird ,Orchard Oriole and Prairie Warbler were some more good stuff in the cemetery.

In Prospects ballfields by the Tennis House, a Vesper Sparrow appeared between fields 3 and 4 by a puddle. Bluewinged teal in the Pools by Falkill,Rusty blackbird in Lily pool and Louisiana Waterthrush are other worth pursuits in Prospect.

There's plenty of birds coming thru so be sure to get out.
