- Comments: "Found it! Second day going back to look, found the previously reported Clay-colored in one of the enclosures in the Nethermead, the one of the three in the southwestern corner that has the tall patch of mugwort weeds in it. Alongside several Song and White-throated Sparrows, and one Swamp, feasting on grass seeds, no Chipping alongside. Warm tan, especially in flight feathers, tan rump rather than gray, no black eyestripe (clear lores), gray on nape went all the way across, unbroken. Extremely cute, gave lovely long looks. Present until dark."
