From my Brooklyn bird club (BBC) walk this past Saturday ( Brighton beach to Coney island ) ,member Barbara S. took this great photo of me on the Coney island pier. I wasn't aware.We walked A total of 6 1/4 miles, in my typical boiding boot camp spirit . calm seas,no wind makes winter birding enjoyable.
