Notany reports coming in today but those I read are these observations:
Common Mergansers still occupied Prospect lake though in small number ranging from one to three based on birder reports.
The Gambles White crowned Sparrow of Greenwood Cemetery Sylvan West hedgerows got a lot of attention from birders today.
And over Greenwood in her airspace was a Black Vultures now this species making passage.
Pine warblers, winter wren and Merlin are species now appearing during this time ,birds seen today in both Prospect and Greenwood.
"Lines Written in Early Spring" (excerpt)
I heard a thousand interwoven notes of birdsong while I lay in a grove, where I was enjoying the kind of mood in which happy thoughts remind you of sad ones.
Nature connected my soul to all the beautiful creatures around me—and I felt terribly sad to think about what humanity has done to itself.
