GWC cerulean

It isn't so often to get a top canopy warbler low enough for great looks. That was the highlight this morning gleaned from multiple reports.

Elizabeth P found a Cerulean Warbler along Cypress Ave in  Greenwood cemetery southern flats region. Most of the great looks birders got occurred at intersection on Cypress and Grape Avenue where oaks line this lane. If you want to find warblers ,go to the oaks! ( That's where you'll find the bugs!)

In another hilight good bird ,head over to the Brooklyn botanic garden native Flora section. Here at the wooden door entrance a Summer Tanager was spotted today. The native Flora section has gotten hot in consecutive days with yesterday's Kentucky Warbler as well.

"There is symbolic as well as actual beauty in the migration of the birds, the ebb and flow of the tides, the folded bud ready for spring." — Rachel Carson

"Everyone likes birds. What wild creature is more accessible to our eyes and ears, as close to us and everyone in the world, as universal as a bird?"
