Quick notes as I'm away for a few days
A Royal Tern appeared at Bush Terminal Pier Park. Likely the first one there historically, as reported by Nick Dawson
A Yellow breasted Chat showed up at an area by the Zucker nature playground by the Vale Cashmere
Black billed Cuckoo is a notable sighting at Sylvan Water West in Greenwood Cemetery where I read reports that the area and hedgerows were recently mowed sending away Lark and Clay colored sparrows that hung around there
At rarely heard and vastly underreported Ridgewood Reservoir, a Connecticut Warbler is a good one there. Another Connecticut was reported by Andrea T at the GWC South slope Sylvan water means it's peak time for this species
Beauty is the only thing that time cannot harm. Philosophies fall away like sand, creeds follow one another, but what is beautiful is a joy for all seasons, a possession for all eternity.
