- Comments: "This was the only warbler that passed by while I was watching this morning, pretty low and with a very direct flight, which I've read is typical of Connecticut. (very poor) photos show a bulky warbler with a pretty chunky bill, large paddle-like wings, giving the impression of a non-warbler at certain angles. Short tail with long undertail coverts, which appear to be mostly yellow except for a hint of white appearance at the very back, which could be a camera artifact? And is not in the right place for Nashville, which has that white vent at the base of the legs. In the second photo I see a hint of a thicker eye ring, at least the front edge of it, barely catching some light. Anyway, I understand this is probably not a confirmable observation, but all these things seem to point to CT. Would be curious for feedback if this is obviously wrong somehow!
