Today I read several reports of the winter finch PINE SISKINS.two in Prospect and two in Greenwood Cemetery.
One sighting occurred in the Vale of Cashmere and the north end of Prospect. Over in Greenwood I recalled the Dell water the scene visited by siskins.
Be on watch for this cute Sppecies as it portends to be an interesting upcoming winter if more numbers surge south.
