The ACADIAN FLYCATCHER continues to stake out the area along the Ambergill creek and pool in the Ravine based on multiple reports.
Singing its " pizza" song it's heard more often than seen but does cooperate for looks with low perches. This is a good bird observation for the park as the species is expanding its southern range northward the last decade ..
The Ambergill goes under the Esdale Bridge as indicated on official park maps. The Ravine is on the south bridge side. Along this section towards the waterfall Rock arch bridge is Acadian domain.
