- Comments: "Presumably rare for early. No photos. Gray and olive-green warbler with almost turquoise tint to upper back feathers. A particularly bright and contrasty individual, larger than Tennessee Warbler, a source of possible confusion, with a pale eyebrow, gray head, and yellow-green below. No wing bars or tail spots. Bill heavier than Tennessee. Foraging waist-high in tops of weeds in Pier 6 wildflower meadow, then flew out to the small patch of lawn SE of here, where I could not relocate it. Typical OCWA behavior--moving fast in the tops of the flowers ,with horizontal foraging posture--defensive strategy more to be constantly on the move than overly skulking."

"I hope I can be the autumn leaf, who looked at the sky and lived. And when it was time to leave, gracefully it knew life was a gift." — Dodinsky
