Under the Wellhouse

At my job ( on duty ) for a staff tour Inside and underneath the Wellhouse, being restored as a public facility by end of this year. The oldest building in Prospect Park, from the 19th century, the Wellhouse served as a pumphouse for water from the lake to the top of Lookout Hill . We are standing in the corridor where water came thru; behind us is the walled off section of a 50+ foot deep holding tank ( now filled in). With me is supervisor Karen Le Riche. Photo taken By Martin Woess. Creepy place...dark and eerie....we make a couple of good spooks
