October is Blackbird month
For most of the day, between 90 & 110 COMMON GRACKLES prey upon the acorn rich areas just outside the Tennis House. Loyal to the location , even as vehicles came in and out of the Tennis House perimeter, the grackles would fly away but only for a short distance and land again in another section inside the iron wrought fence.
