Hi Peter,

Good birds in Prospect Park this morning:

- Lots of sparrow activity at the ballfields (field #7 and along construction fence), including the famed Vesper Sparrow and some Chipping Sparrows.
- Raptors very active above the ballfields/Quaker cemetery. Merlin and Kestrel, plus a sharp-shinned. The merlin/kestrel duo were chasing each other.
- The west woodland restoration near the picnic house grilling area was very productive. Large mixed flock of White-Throated Sparrows, Juncos, Palm Warblers, Yellowthroat, Yellow-Rumps, Golden-Crowned Kinglet, Hermit Thrush and 1 Veery.
- Wood ducks on the upper pool.

All the best,
-Sean
