Prospect Look what the rain ( what rain ?) brought in

A dedicated day effort by Kathy Toomey rewarded her with a day's end WILSON'S SNIPE. About 230 pm. as she walked to the shore by the West island gazebo, a shorebird flew out, likely on the black plastic, with well marked striped head and distinctive back and tail tip.It was seen flying back into the phragmites where it disappeared with out success for me and a visiting Dutch birder as it was inside dense reeds.

Rob Bate's walk under threatening skies and some light rain did well with the typical early spring species but adding BLUE-HEADED VIREO & PURPLE FINCH to the worthy catch.

At Lullwater cove, when I went at lunch time, all three single individuals PINE, PALM and YELLOW RUMPED WARBLERS greeted me.
