Hi Peter and Rob

we had 16 people today.  highlights included 9 hooded mergansers in the upper pool, and a trio of spectacular warblers.  We had about given up on the yellow-throated warbler when we ran into (I believe it was) Cesar Castillo  who told us he had just seen it on the east side of terrace bridge, on the path heading toward music island.  we were on the west side and quickly went up and over.  initially no luck on YT but we found the prothonotary, with some help from Ed Crowne, and then while the group was looking at PROW, the YT flew into view and they were both eating bugs on the green facade of the bridge in the same bin view.  Quite a site!  Then we headed to Lincoln to look for the Hooded and when we were at the Oriental structure, we got a heads up phone call from Karen O that she and Ed were looking at it, so we hustled over and after a few minutes, relocated it.  After all this excitement the rest of the day was gravy.  We found a second, duller, PROW by the tarped over frags by 3-sisters.  Eni found a brown thrasher and blue-headed vireo.  We found a FOS black-throated Green behind the upper pools.   there were yellow-rumps and palms everywhere.   All in all, 65 species, 11 warblers.

best,
Bobbi
