- Comments: "Rare, and a real surprise as we were ready to leave empty-handed. A paler bird than the one seen by many around Brooklyn Army Terminal earlier this month: If Richard described the color of the other individual as "cafe con leche," this one was just … leche. First seen perched on the railing on our way back to the car and last seen through the scope, flying west somewhere over the northern end of Staten Island, where we finally lost it. Photos.
