As summer brings slowness, a good bird is news even if uncommon. The last two days has been noted for three species.
Midwood continues to host the calling Acadian Flycatcher likely trying to breed as history had it been recorded in the past.
A Yellow Billed cuckoo showed up yesterday on West Island ,likely a late migrant. Or maybe just hanging around unattached to a mate.
And thirdly, as it happens sometimes we get a tern. Today an unusual Common Tern was found at Prospect Lake, making this much rare than the typical Forsters.
Keep on looking even if things go at a snails pace . 🌞
