Hi Peter,

we had a very nice group of people today including a visitor from the UK, and our young birder John Dean joined us again. We went counter-clockwise around the lake for a change, hoping that whatever birds were waiting on the winds were doing so on the south side by water.  This also allowed us to stay in shade a majority of the time. We were well rewarded in both instances.  While we didn't see any new species for Fall Migration, we had a very active morning along the Hammerhead and Three Sisters, with good warbler activity, much of it low down, especially the Yellows.  Also 2 very vocal and active Red-breasted Nuthatches playing tag in the trees on the Hammerhead.

I'll be away next week, and i'll see if Rob can cover, else the group is all set to run itself as a Friends Walk.
