- Comments: "Late. Crescent water. Seen below eye level, but deep in a bush. Black bill seen well. It flew out when we went for (what would have been a terrible) picture. Drab wings lacking reddish tones of yellow-billed."

- Comments: "Late. Flushed off the edge of Sylvan as we arrived, calling as it flew. High pitched ascending call, medium length straight bill, legs not trailing like yellowlegs (and the call was wrong for yellowlegs)."
