Subject: A note about the Brooklyn Bird Club's Annual Birdathon

Dear BBC members,

We miss you but hope you are keeping safe.  Due to current circumstances, we are postponing our annual birdathon and fundraiser until October, however, we are honoring World Migratory Bird Day in May with a week-long celebration of Spring migration in Brooklyn.

While we can't form teams and beat the bushes (terminals) of Brooklyn with our friends looking for birds, we do have a way for everyone to participate.

More details to follow, but we will be holding a CBC-style week of birding from May 6-12, with participants covering and reporting on their local patches.  So get your bins polished and practice not getting them fogged up as you bird locally and responsibly with a mask on.  Stay tuned!
