- Comments: "Continuing rare bird.  Immature.  Almost the size of a Ring-billed Gull with a noticeably smaller black and ivory-colored bill.  Observed the Mew Gull with Matthieu from France and his friend for 20 minutes or so between 3:30 and 4:00 PM.  It flew up at one point but we were able to keep on it til it landed on the water.  It had a black fringe on its white tail.  I actually compared the bill pattern with previously confirmed sightings and it is the same.  Low-quality photos are attached.  Presumably Matthieu will have better photos."
