From Brooklyn bird club Facebook post
They want to put a ferry terminal in Coney Island Creek. Not only is it largely inaccessible to Coney Island residents but it will change the ecology of the dunes there where so many gulls roost. They will need to continuously dredge the narrow channel which will change the sand buildup on the dunes and the constant traffic will disrupt the wildlife making use of the inlet and creek. Take action now and send in your comments.
