MEGA ** rarity Kings first Rufous Hummingbird-- in prospect park

Seen on the descending path to the Rink from Terrace Be or upper south slope Breeze Hill

- Comments: "Thanks to Anthony Ferino for spotting the suspect eBird report and to Tripper for finding the bird this morning. Selasphorus hummingbird showing orange on it's sides and in the tail feathers. Ryan M. got photos that showed broad outer tail feathers. I look forward to the final verdict of the identification of this bird and seeing better photos than I have to add, which are inconclusive."
