A short ride to Greenwood

Just looking to get out for a short spell while nursing a muscle hip strain, I wanted to get the Philadelphia Vireo at the Caitland Grave . It turns out something different .

When I arrived unsure where that vireo was, I ran into Dom, a friend from the Linannean Society . It turns out he had spotted a Connecticut Warbler under the tree just behind the Caitland Grave. And he had a great photo of it. Me, I lucked out again and not even the vireo either. But it was a good time talking to Dom and Ryan M who came along.

There was another Connecticut report at the Dellwater but by then it was getting too hot.

Meanwhile a Philadelphia Vireo was reported at Prospects north lull water cove trail, seen eating berries across from the Rustic Arbor..

Oh well there's always next time.
