December 15th is Kings County's Xmas count. As always, in the spirit of fun and citizen science, field trip leaders need help in some areas. Most times, help is needed for Prospect, Brooklyn Botanic Garden , Greenwood Cemetery, Floyd Bennett. Below is a note from Heidi Steiner, the recruiter for the teams whom you can ask where help is most needed. If you are aiming for Prospect Park for either two teams, you can contact me prosbird@aol.com . One team starts from Grand Army Plaza entrance (Paul Keim ) , the other team down by Prospect Park Southwest Ave at Vanderbilt Street ( opposite the pizza place) (Peter D)
Count dinner is at the Audubon Center in Prospect. The dinner setup needs volunteers.let me know if you wish assisting here.

Hello All,
This year the Brooklyn Christmas Count is on Saturday, December 15th.
The count dinner will follow at the Prospect Park Audubon Center.
Good news! This year the Annual Audubon Christmas Count is now free and there is no money to collect!
We still will be collecting voluntary contributions but it is one less thing to think about.
