<< >>
We also have two films specifically relevant to the birding community:
Birders: The Central Park Effect (dir. Jeffrey Kimball) follows New Yorkers who schedule their lives around the rhythms of migration.
The Lost Bird Project (dir. Deborah Dickson) is a documentary about the stories of five birds driven to extinction in modern times and sculptor Todd McGrain’s project to memorialize them. The directors of both films will be at the screenings.
These are only 2 of 110 films and events at DOC NYC starting November 8th through November 15th -- 8 amazing days of unique films, panels and workshops. You can visit our homepage at http://www.docnyc.net/ where you’ll find links to purchase tickets to all our films, (Music films are all listed here http://www.docnyc.net/festival-news/doc-nyc-films-about-music/
