Prospect May 6th, the story so far

There is an old commercial many years ago , I believe Maytag that had a memorable line "That's the Story, Jerry !"

Today, yep, its the same old story. A dearth of migrants commands our attention as there is little we can do about it.It's Nature, whereas we are but a speck in the cosmos...

This morning's good birds were ORCHARD ORIOLE and BLACKPOLL WARBLER at the Lullwater  Rustic Arbor, per Rob Bate. Rafael reported among his best, WOOD THRUSH.

Don't worry, Rafael, I'll say a prayer and hopefully they will come ...(maybe Friday ?  I have that day off, so have confidence maybe in my gut I might know something.....)

From Rafael Campos:

Peter:  Where are the birds?  A third consecutive day with almost no activity, and the warblers sps, are less sps than the previous year.  At least the vireos are here, and the Wood Thrush is singing its heart out in the Midwood.
