Prospect's Kentucky roots ( for the warbler 'STAR" to walk on)

A ridiculously tame KENTUCKY WARBLER is providing amazingly close views along the fences that range form the Upper Pool Dog Beach to just beyond the Falkill falls wood bridge. At times,it would be just a foot from the path in wide open spaces.I went to the spot after work and watched it for a good 20 minutes.Of course, timing is essential when it decides to prowl.

Here's a profile. http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Kentucky_Warbler/id

The other good note is a breeding male BOBOLINK found along the Peninsula sumacs,in the lawn before it flushed towards the Pink Beach, watched by Matthew Wills, Peter Colen and Karen O'hearn tipped off by a Long Island birding couple (names ?)

Slower day today but a gorgeous male with flaming orange throat BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER and PRAIRIE WARBLER along with YELLOW THROATED VIREO (latter found by Mary Eyster) was my own hi lite at Lookout Hill's Butterfly Meadow pin oaks.
