Long leisurely view of Cooper's perched above Valley Water today, which may explain why there was an usually still and silent male Kingfisher perched over the water itself. Water was iced over last time I was there, Dec. 23, but all open now. Green-Wood's so close to the harbor, as Kingfishers fly, I suspect they may "migrate" back and forth. Have had a couple of sightings in the bays north of Bush Terminal Park this month.
Will get date possibilities for bird and tree walk to you soon.
