Too many reports today so I will summarize the best.
The Mourning warbler stuck overnight, near Vanderbilt Playground in Prospect.Wors I received from a friend it was in a oak tree east of the median strip opposite the playground where it hid in as well .
A Yellow breasted chat made an appearance at the Litchfield Villa , seen high up on a tree in Villa woods
Another Prothonotary Warbler showed up this time in the vicinity of Three Sisters Islands along prospect lake South shore.
Here are some warbler reports in Prospect: Wilson's behind the Well house and Picnic house area; worm eating in the Mid wood; Blackburnian on South Lookout Hill.
Over at Greenwood, Cypress Ave and vine Ave or in that general area at least 15 warbler species seen .
In Greenwood a Gray cheeked thrush came under scrutiny as a possible bicknella.Only singing voice will separate the two.
Flocks of Glossy Ibises flew over Greenwood and Prospect with 35 counted with latter.
A Summer Tanager continues at the Bklyn botanic garden native Flora section.
And last ,at Owls Head Park, blue Grosbeak was the main celebrity.Though a willow flycatcher there imitated an Acadian .
