Other good stuff in prospect

The hilight today of Prospects White ibis had some backup making it an exciting time in the park.

This morning on Lookout Hill ,two very notable species popped up. One was an adult Red headed Woodpecker seen on the West side of Lookout Hill, the slope facing Quaker Cemetery. In the same general area of that slope a calling Acadian Flycatcher was reported as well .

And another flyover report from Anthony T who found the white ibis also spotted a Little Blue Heron which is rare for Prospect, the heron flying over the Lake somewhere over the East sector

"There is symbolic as well as actual beauty in the migration of the birds, the ebb and flow of the tides, the folded bud ready for spring." — Rachel Carson

"Everyone likes birds. What wild creature is more accessible to our eyes and ears, as close to us and everyone in the world, as universal as a bird?"
