I was surprised to find a young Iceland Gull on Prospect Lake this afternoon. The bird was resting with roughly 30 Herring, 8 Ring-billed and 3 Laughing Gulls. Unfortunately, while I was putting the call out the bird took off circling high to the ESE.
2 Red-necked Grebes remain on the lake.
