An oversight I failed to mention in my last post. Opposite the Vanderbilt playground, I discovered up to a dozen COMMON GRACKLES shifting thru the leaf clutter.. On my way home from work, small numbers flew overhead perching along the west shore of the lake trees. In the three sweetgums,6 were closely perched together. Its spring finally??? Wait till Friday....technically.
