Black Vulture Prospect

I looked up and saw a very flappy, short winged vulture, raising my suspicions that it was a Black Vulture. On my work site at the Prospect Park entrance at PPSW Ave and 16th Street/Windsor Place, I hurried and grabbed my bins from the vehicle and looked at it quickly.

Yep, a BLACK VULTURE flying west towards Greenwood Cemetery. Always nice to get the first bird of its kind for "Prospark"

A nice observation this morning was at Three Sistsers Islands with 5 GREAT BLUE HERONS together on the water snag facing the lake.

Father away , near Duck Island, the 3 COMMON MERGANSERS are well seen and I beleive the Ring Neck Ducks as well ....
