Subject: Instructors needed for a school birding program at the Reservoir

Dear Friends:

We are planning to host a Birding Day at the Ridgewood Reservoir for two classes of IS 93 in Ridgewood.  This program is being sponsored by Council Member Crowley and will be some day the first week of May ( I am  still waiting for a date confirmation from the school).  It will be for 7th graders, from 10 am - Noon. We are looking to hire instructors to lead groups of 15 students around a section of the Reservoir to cover the following topics:

1. Binocular Basics
2. Bird ID Basics
3. Bird Habitats and their adaptations

We would like the instructors to be familiar with the site, and enjoy working with this age group.

We will be providing binoculars and guides for each student.

Would you be interested in helping out that day?
If so, what would be your fee for three hours (to include pre visit to site and leading a tour)

Thank you.
