Despite a half hour scan from 345 on,I couldn't find the parks first ever Black Scoter. Looking from the Peninsula and after a long walk to the south shore,it wasn't seen. However since Linda reported seeing it on the middle island north shoreline,from the Peninsula ,the weather conditions and waning light made it almost impossible to see without an excellent scope.
It's likely sticking around with the bad weather assuming it's still here. Better luck tomorrow.
